Adjusting the BLTouch probe so it deploys

Move your z-axis up to about 100mm (4in) off the build surface.

After you do, turn off the printer and turn it back on. The probe should slick in and out twice. If it doesn't, use the hex key to turn this nut on the top of the BLTouch by 1/4-1/2 a turn clockwise.

Reboot the printer and it should go in and out twice. If it doesn't, turn it a bit more and restart the printer.

If it still doesn't click out, try turning it 3/4 of a turn counter-clockwise (to move it about 1/4 counter-clockwise from the original position). Restart and hopefully it will click down!

If it doesn't turn it a tiny bit and try again. After trying this in a few different directions to see if it needs to be tightened or loosened, it should start popping in and out when you restart!

When it does, run the BLTouch Calibration and then you will be ready to print!
