Installing or replacing a microSD card on the 300x
Turn off and unplug the 300x 3D printer.
Lay the 3D printer on its side.
(A) Find the microSD card port on the Raspberry Pi.
(B) Use an Allen wrench or similar object to peel back the tape.
Pull out the old microSD card. If it’s hard to grip with your fingers, use an Allen wrench or flathead screwdriver to gently pull up on the tab of the SDcard.
Insert the new microSD card into the slot, with the gold contact strips facing toward the printer.
**The card will only insert in one direction. If it doesn’t easily fit into the slot, flip the card over. Jamming the card into the slot can damage the slot and disable your printer.**
If desired, replace tape to hold the card securely in place.
Turn the printer back on its feet, plug in the power, and flip the switch to turn it on. If the printer doesn’t boot, turn off the printer and ensure that the microSD card is fully inserted into the slot and try again.
Please place your old microSD card into the provided pre-stamped envelope and mail it back to Maker Made for us to diagnose.
Please let Maker Made know if your printer is working properly or if you still need assistance!
